Patch 3.3 and The Mutilate Rogue

The Speculations are over, let the Grumblings begin. Whether you like it or not Patch 3.3 brings daggers to the forefront with yet another buff for Mutilate Rogues. Here are the major changes.
Mutilate Rogues can ditch at least one addon. “PosionSwapper”
- Deadly Poison: In addition to its existing effects, when a rogue applies Deadly Poison to a target which has already reached the maximum number of applications, this will also trigger the poison which the rogue is using on his or her other weapon.
Also if you had previously chosen the Fleet Footed or Vigor talent , time to go back to Murder.
- Murder: This talent now provides a flat damage increase of 2/4% against all targets, instead of only targets which do not appear in Icecrown.
Worried about mutilple target boss fights and building Deadly stacks?
- Improved Poisons: Bonus chance to trigger Deadly Poison from this talent increased.
It would seem that they’ve covered it all when it comes to the Assassination tree. That’s about it. I will do some testing tonight on the dummies and let you know how much I picked up. Last time I ran DPS on a Dummy I was hitting about 4k unbuffed. Make sure and run some heroics also as they now drop Triumph badges and you can gear up to 232 level gear very quickly.
Enjoy this while you can everyone. There’s no doubt in my mind that a Nerf to the Assassination tree is coming. It’s just a matter of when.
