Make Invigoration Useful

Ran ICC25 last night and this little number dropped
I didn’t have much time to look at it. But I figured it was a big item lvl jump from the 232 daggers I had been carrying around. So I rolled and won for once! After the raid I looked more into this. Went to the DPS Dummies and checked the uptime on the Invigoration buff that was provided by this dagger. It wasn’t a proc that stayed up all the time. Maybe 2-3 times per minute.
The real thing that made me interested in this dagger was the lack of another stat (Armor Pen, Hit, Haste, Agility or Expertise). So I figured this buff would be pretty useful. Looking at the dagger it says 2 energy every 2 secs for 10 secs. Fact is this was hotfixed back on January 5th to provide a 4 energy bonus instead of the previous 2 energy. I can see that Blizz knows this buff was not a huge benefit to players and they are working on slowly fixing this. Losing other important stats for this buff means that Invigoration should at least make up for the stat loss. I’m not sure the change to 4 energy does enough to make this item really sought after.
One thing that could make this item live up to it’s 264 item level. Make the the buff stackable. Blizz doesn’t have to go crazy but make it proc more often and stack to 2 or 3 stacks. Obviously the last thing that we want to happen is see a buff like this get OPed, we get used to it and then it gets nerfed. But it definitely needs to be made a more viable gear choice when raiding ICC.
On a side note; I could probably save this next statement for another post but what’s the deal with the Tooltips not changing? This dagger still reads 2 energy on it even though this hotfix happened some 3 weeks ago. Hunger for Blood is something else that is still reading 15% buff even though it’s only putting out 5%. Evidently these need patches to update. Blizz get on it. Personally I don’t keep up with gear changes as much as I should be, so rolling on this item I had no idea that what I was reading wasn’t correct. Your messing with head!!
